Mais mon cher Djeuve il n'est certes pas question de s'en prendre 脿 nos cousins canadiens que nous affectionnons particuli猫rement. Mais je propose ceci bien qu'il soit vrai que la traduction n'est pas 茅vidente. Mais une traduction se veut de rendre le sens et l'esprit du texte original plut么t que de s'astreindre 脿 quelque chose de litt茅ral.



Un jour tu verras que personne ne pourra t'aimer comme je l'ai fait. Tu voudras que je revienne vers toi mais on ne veut que ce qu'on ne peut pas avoir. J'aurai choisi ma route et tu devras en faire autant. Je serai celle qui t'aura 茅chapp茅e et tu ne seras que celui qui a bris茅 mon coeur.

"Un jour, tu verras que personne peux t'aimer come moi. Tu me voudras 脿 nouveau, mais nous voulons (tous) ce que nous ne pouvons pas avoir. Je m'en aurai pass茅 et tu devrais faire pareil."

(To "move on" in such a context might also be better expressed as "passer 脿 autre chose", as in: "J'aurai pass茅 脿 autre chose et tu....", but though this is probably correct for standard French, I can't really confirm that since I speak an Acadian dialect... Also, this last part is a bit difficult for me without writing in in an Acadian form of speech, since those are English expressions we just say in English, but here's a shot at standard French...)
