Never take anything web translator tools say as law. They are capable of directly translating words but if you try to translate an entire sentence it will often, sometimes never make sense.

I would counsel you not to you any of them, unless you have already a good knowledge of the language to which your translate.



I have seen a lot of such translation in Yahoo!Answers and It works badly.



You can make a small test. Took a web page in English, translate it in french and retranslate it in english, you will have some fun.



Assuming that you are an english native speaker, to use it from french to english would be fine, you will see all the nonsense. But if you do it in the other way, you are exposing you to serious mistakes.

if you have to translate words or little phrases , they can be reliable. but in long texts , it usually loose the "style" and might give a mediocre way of writing . because of the difference in the way each language formulates its ideas. and also the fact that a word in a language sometimes cannot be translated to a single word in the other one. and many other issues.How reliable is web translation service between English and French?
