French To English Translation....PLEASE HELPPP?

HI guys,

I am just doing a project and I came up with an expression, can you please confirm the meaning of that??

The expression is "La ville faconner"

Please do not go to a translation website and tell me as I have alreaddy visited them. If you speak both english and french, that would be a good help as there are less chances of errors. Also, please let me know if it makes sense.French To English Translation....PLEASE HELPPP?
I'm guessing you're trying to say "fashion city?"

I'd say, "la ville du style" (lit. "the city of style").

The French often import English words to make things sound more trendy just like English borrows French words to sound more cultured. "le style" %26amp; "le look" are two examples the French took from English.

Another good possiblity: "la ville en vogue" (lit. "the city in style").

Both answers approximate Fashion City; but "en vogue" and "du style" work well for Americans who don't speak French since these words are also found in our lexicon.

I'd translate "le magasin ultime de mode" as "Le meilleur magasin de mode."

"Ultime" can mean "ultimate" . . . but usually it implies "final" or "last." -- "meilleur" = "best" (which is how you meant to use 'ultimate' in that sentence). Also, I just like the allitteration with [m].

To quote CoCo Chanel, "la mode passe, le style reste!" (fashion passes, style remains).
The last one is - The Ultimate Fashion store

But La ville faconner makes no senseFrench To English Translation....PLEASE HELPPP?
La ville fa莽onn茅e. Do you mean the fashion city, la ville de la mode?

Le magasin ultime de la mode. Do you mean it's the ultimate, c'est le nec plus ultra (not beyond)? The cutting-edge fashion store, le magasin 脿 la pointe de la mode.French To English Translation....PLEASE HELPPP?

"Le Magasin ultime de mode" - The latest fashion store.

Fashion City is

"La Ville de la Mode"
No sense at all. About expression 2: the other guy was right.
